Future Residential Electricians

The Electricity Program prepares students for entry-level jobs in the architecture and construction industry. The program provides students with hands-on training associated with residential electricity. Students in this program earn their OSHA-10 and NCCER-Level 1 certifications. Students in this program have the option for dual enrollment credit through Brightpoint Community College – Chester Campus (12 credits).

Program Outcomes

By the completion of this program, students will be expected to demonstrate an introductory level of competency in the following skills:

  • Installation – Install light fixtures, and power devices
  • Power & Circuits – Create circuits using a single-pole, three-way, and four-way switching systems
  • National Electric Code – Apply the National electrical Code (NEC) requirements for electrical installation
