Future Welders

The Welding Program prepares students for entry-level jobs in the manufacturing and construction industries. The program provides students with hands-on  training associated with welding and metal fabrication. Students in this program earn their OSHA-10. Students in this program may earn their NCCER-Level 1 Welding certification. Students in this program have the option for dual enrollment credit through Brightpoint Community College – Chester Campus (6 credits).

Program Outcomes

By the completion of this program, students will be expected to demonstrate an introductory level of competency in the following skills:

  • Blueprints – Read blueprints and mark materials accordingly
  • Cutting – Cut material using various methods
  • Welding – Perform welds on aluminum and steel
